MyHOMED was created for a brand identity project in senior design studio. The purpose of this assignment was to create a non-profit organization advocating for the issue of our choice. I chose student homelessness. MyHOMED stands for Mountain youth Homed. The hypothetical organization would centralize it's efforts in the mountains of Kentucky, where student homelessness is disproportionally prominent, and branch out from there. Kentucky is ranked number one in the United States in youth homelessness.
My HOMED would encompass four goals: providing a place for them to stay, assisting with other basic needs, aiding in their journey toward education, and ensuring their bright future.
